Cheekha Dar, meaning Black Tent, is the Kurdish name given to the highest mountain on the Iraqi/Iranian border. Its peak sits majestically in an area known for shaping the Earth's stories. The tracks on this EP combine sounds from this region, as well as Asia, delivering 2 versions of the title track for day time and night time adventures. The Day version is a sensual flow, perfect for your sunset. The Night version is not only faster but has intense violin parts, working great to light up the dance floor, as it has been tested since last years festival season. The track 'Be My Baby' is an emotional story using woodwind, guitar and vocal elements. Let the music speak for itself.
