On his third EP for Garasadah Records Udāsa deals with North Africa. In a small village, somewhere in the High Atlas, young Berbers sit in a circle. One of them is plucking at a guitar. The others accompany him on their tablas. The sound of the tabla leads us down to the desert, where the camels are already waiting. The multitude of fieldrecordings was created in Morocco. On a Trip to the Sahara, tabla-playing Berbers were recorded. And the children's choir for "Maharbaan" were discovered by Udasa in the medina of Fès. The oud was played by Ghaith al Shaar.
